    This is ridiculous

Are you serious, Nick? Do you really expect the average user to follow the eight or ten steps you outline below, just to play a game that shouldn't be crashing in the first place? By the way, I actually did follow the eight steps below, and then the ten steps, just out of morbid curiosity I suppose. Big surprise: it didn't work.

Can you say $$$, Nick? You people are losing users, which means you're losing in-app sales. It's no fun trying to play a game that crashes every few minutes. Not worth the effort, no matter how much fun the game used to be.

    2. Tap and hold any of the icons until they all start to wiggle and get a red dot with a white stripe in the upper left corner.
    3. Tap on all red dots on all icons to quit the apps running in the background (including Hay Day)
    4. Double tap on your home-button again.
    5. Go to Settings and enable "Airplane Mode"
    6. Reboot your device.
    7. Go to the settings again and disable "Airplane Mode" to restore all networks
    8. Launch Hay Day and try again.

    or...

    1. Delete Hay Day from your device.
    2. Double tap on the home-button so that a row of icons (open apps) appear at the bottom.

    8. Go to the settings again and disable "Airplane Mode" to restore all networks
    9. Re-install Hay Day
    10. Launch Hay Day and try again.

Also make sure you have the latest iOS version installed!!

    Cheers,

    Nick

    You've lost me, Hay Day

Too bad, because this was a game I used to enjoy. Now I can't play it for five minutes without it crashing, and when I tried to send a message to the Support Center, it crashed my whole iPad. And yes, I tried all the suggested "fixes," some of which are such a long laundry list that no one could possibly memorize them, so I had to print them out in order to follow them. That's a lot of trouble just to play on a virtual farm...and it didn't even work. In the meantime, my timed tasks expired, Tom went back to sleep (so much for those diamonds spent to hire him), and my community lost the derby because I couldn't complete my challenges. Enough already--this game is no fun anymore. Goodbye, Hay Day.

You're losing users, Hay Day people. That means you're losing in-app purchases. Can you say $$$?

This game is a disaster. Supercell is a disaster. I hope they get fixed or im done too. Been playing since the beginning of 2013. I loved this game so much but now its a source of rage and frustration. Just tell us you dont support ipad1 and ill upgrade my device. Very simple. Just fix the game. Im giving it until the end of the month. Between this fiasco and the previous update i could be levels ahead of where i am now. not to mention all the products i could have produced and money made. Just fix the game supercell. Fix your game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An aside: The "laundry list" as quoted above is not difficult. It only looks complicated because it is kindly itemised as a foolproof step-by-step explanation of how to turn off your apps fully, device fully, and WiFi connection fully, and how to turn it all back on again. It can be simplified as saying "switch everything off and back on" and "delete then reinstall your game". Not everyone knows how to do that properly, so it is helpful to have a guide.

The crashing issue is certainly something to be upset about. The step-by-step guides such as above, though, are not. If it didn't work, then I can sympathise and I hope they will be able to help you further.

Enable diamond confirmation in settings --- but beware: it only works in some places!
