Hi, this thread is about my new troop idea: the Ice Monster.
This troop would be unlocked at town hall 10. It takes up 28 housing space and is a dark elixir troop.
Hitpoints: The Ice Monster has about 1500 HP.
Attack Type: Single Target
Ground/Air: Ice Monster is a ground troop and can only attack ground targets.
Cost: I would say 175 - 300 DE, but the actual amount is up to Supercell if this unit gets added into the game.
DPS: Again, the exact amount is up to the Supercell team, but my estimate would be 50
Attack speed: Not very fast, about once every 5 seconds.
Movement speed: 12
Favorite Target: Inferno Tower (damage x 2)
Major Weakness: Inferno Tower (damage taken x 1.5)
Training time: 45 minutes
Physical Description: Golem - like creature encased in whitish blue ice, spiral rune on back.
Attacking strategies: Combine the Ice Monster with lesser troops and send him on a rampage to destroy the Inferno Towers! Beware, though: this cold-hearted giant takes extra damage from the very same tower that he despises! Try using Freeze Spells when the Inferno Tower starts targeting this monstrosity, and make sure more troops are behind him! Inferno Towers set to multiple target? NO PROBLEM! Without the steady buildup of damage, the Ice Monster might take a lot of damage due to his weakness, but he'll almost certainly destroy that lava-spewing nuisance! Remember: Timing is everything when it comes to spells.
Defending Strategies: Place your Magma-shooting towers near the middle so the Monster has to get through lots and lots of walls. Set the Inferno Tower on single target to build up damage to the Ice Monster. Also, place Wizard Towers within range of your Infernos to take out swarms of lesser troops that may come in as reinforcements. Also, since the Monster's favorite target is the Inferno Tower, while he's attacking your Inferno, he is vulnerable to Clan troops and Heroes.
