    Red face

4 EQ spells would have opened the entire section...no need for wallbreakers...

    Just my opinion.

Radiating learn how wbs work before giving advise. Wallbreakers do not go to the closest closed compartment. A wb targets not the walls but the, closest building trapped in a compartment, thus if I have a wall with no building behind it the wbs will not go there. They will go where there is a building behind.

Learn how how wbs Ai work and then give advise.

That is definitely the lazy mans way, but almost entirely unnecessary in outer layer walls such as this. EQ would be a waste of 4 spell slots and tons of DE when 4wbs would get the job done IMO

Radiating is probably aware of that. Most people with 6k posts under their belt should be. But at the time we had no picture of the base/walls in question and I think he was just taking a one-liner stab at what likely tripped up the OP.

But what you posted is correct. Wbs will not go to an empty compartment, and one can use this to their advantage if they know it (i.e., use archers or wiz to clear buildings inside walls before deploying wbs to make sure they go where you want them to go).

    I agree

Wall breakers are only useful to take a wall down bu they have to be used with the proper troops at their side. Its best to use giants or some other troop to take damage first then deploy your wall breakers behind them so they do not get taken out before they get to the wall. I try to only take one to four to not use too much troop and army camp space.

I though WB will snap the corner and quickly blow it up. As my pic shows, if my WB did it, the entire right section would be wide open. Specifically targeting corners is the thing I love WB, but it doesn't work well some times.
My 3rd drop on the right should be targeting other compartment in front of it, but it didn't. That's why I think there is a problem.

Well, I did a quick count of tiles, and actually the 2 arrows closest to the left actually would be going to a space closer than the one you wanted to target, because the troops would have to walk around building in order to hit the right walls. The one in the right, honestly I can't explain. Best guess would be there was a Tesla or something there which redirected the WB.

Wall breakers ♥♥♥♥ me off, I do not understand what you guys are trying to imply by explaining how the AI of the Wall breakers work.

I know how they work, and I believe this is the actual problem, I do not want smart wall breakers thank you, I would rather dump wall breakers running straight from drop point towards center until it reaches a wall.

I know I know funneling bla bla bla, I heard a million times already, but for god sake it is wall breakers. We are basically saying the WB AI is faulty and you are basically saying adapt to it.

If I send a golem, then wizards to funnel for the rest of my troops, then the wall breakers trying to get them to target a wall different from the one the golem is getting hit because of the splash damage, it targets the wall the golem is hitting no matter where I deploy them.

I do not see how you guys don't find this a problem?
Again I understand how the AI works, we are simply saying we want it changed.

And I am sure we have the right to ask, and I am also sure supercell is reading our complaints and probably trying to figure how to solve this, so please stop explaining how the AI works.
