How do you turn a 2 star clan into a 3 star clan?🙏🏾

Anyone have advice on turning a 2star clan into a 3 star clan? Current clan has a lot of 2 star attacks. Some guys striving for 3 star attack strats (goho, golaloon,...) but get 1 star per attack a lot as they work that out. As a result I see many are sticking to a gowipe crutch because they don't want the red line in their war log. Most of clan is well developed th8, th9 and new th9s. Any reasonable suggestions on how to change this culture without setting fire to the clan would be very much appreciated.

How often does your clan war?

I ask because my clan isn't a super-serious warring clan (I take it more seriously than anyone else), and we only war once a week (this let's people farm/upgrade all week, and wars get expensive/tedious). When we were trying to improve our clan performance in war, we started having midweek "practice" wars where no one was expected to do anything serious. The whole mantra of the midweek war was to practice new strategies or play with new units. We used this opportunity to teach our really bad attackers how to Gowipe, and our 2 star attackers how to shoot for 3. Sometimes people would just barch a lowbie target with their 2nd attack just for the DE bonus. We almost always lost these wars, but it was good practice and we got a little bit of clan XP in the process.

A good idea if you're not a "War = always" type clan.

All this advice is worthless....learn how to surgical hog and any th8/9 can be 3 starred, simple as that. Every elite war clan does it, if you want to be one that's how.

To the OP, that's it, here's your solution! Just tell all your clan members "LOL noob, L2surgical hog," and watch the 3 star attacks roll in. It's just that easy!!

If you have people in your clan without max hogs for their th level, there's your first problem. It doesn't take long to learn that strat, few practice runs and if someone doesn't have it they gotta go. The post is how2b3starclan, that's the only real answer, roll your eyes all you want

All I would say is don't give up. Many ppl like the gowipe 2 star but u need to influens hogs in those raids. We have several th 8s that r great at doing a gohowipe.if u had 1 or 2 members that are 3 star specialist on th8s and 9s then that be awesome. But ur members will need to listen. They may not get the 3 star right away. But practice makes perfect

Surgical hogs is such a vague statement. You really gave no advice. Surgical hogs +what? Are you talking about a kill team with flanking hogs? If so did you talk about variants of kill team composition? And when do you replace hogs with loons? Top clans DO NOT just use surgical hogs or they would lose a lot of wars. No top war team just uses one magic bullet war composition for every base. Your statement is not based in reality.

Please ignore this elitist war clan troll. Surgical goho has low probability of success against good th9 bases unless you are using illegal methods. All elite war clan does it because 99% of them are using illegal means .... :/

Personally I have similar problems in my clan. Knowing how hard it is to get three stars on strong th9s, we focus more on getting all the possible stars from th8s and below. So, my best advice would be to use another clan as training grounds. My clan has a feeder. We send anyone who has to practice their attacks to the feeder. Also, encourage your clanmates to watch tutorials, advise them on certain bases, recruit strong players.

Choose targets you can 3*. Ignore the ranking. A base layout varies thus leaving it easier/harder to be raided by certain troops. A gowiper ranked 3 may struggle to attack the anti-gowipe base set as his/her mirror but may find it easier to take out the no.1.

This guy is absolutely correct I have some guys that can 3 star higher then their number and some that have to go lower. You need to have your members try new attacks... If your TH9 are still cooking troops for their standard gowipe then that will result in 2 star most the time. You have to examine each base and play it in your head of which raid will do best. Have a guy or 2 try a new raid style in war. My clan has started doing a gowiwi for the first half of attack and then as the xbows are distracted we throw in the hogs. Its failed a couple time but also has gotten us clan war winning results. It is also very important to use warcaller or clashcaller. Otherwise your clan is worried about getting their troops done fast instead of focusing how to get the 3 star.

Saying nonsense like "Learn to surgical hog, all the 'elite' war clans are doing it, it's SIMPLE" is just a laughable.
It provides absolutely NO real advice, I'm sure the OP knows MANY of the end-game war variants (and if you think it's all just surgical hog that's hogwash, pun intended). There's pentaloon, and GoHo, and GoHoWiWi, GoWiVa and GoVaLo, AQ walk, and like a dozen more. I saw a youtube video of someone pulling off a 3 star attack on a TH10 with Giants, yes GIANTS!!

He's asking a good way to teach OTHERS in his clan how to pull off these attacks, and no, "just a few practice runs" ain't gonna cut it; I think you're seriously overestimating the skill level or the average CoC player. I think the OP was seriously asking how to help his members improve their game and war skills beyond simply saying "just Youtube OneHive and viola, the entire clan will be 3 star attackers." Cause it doesn't work like that in real life...

Now you went too far. Although that dude was vague, surgical goho is lagit. I have no clue how to ♥♥♥♥ computers but I have mastered a few variants of goho at th9 and it works fine. I 3*** more often than not. It just requires skill. High level royals help but it can be done with 10/10s. Sure not as constantly as with 30/30s but it is doable.
