I would like the ability to choose what level of troop I cook.
This matters mostly because of what happens at Clan L5 (donation lvl +1). If i donate hogs, I should be able to choose L4 since they'll be upgraded anyway, same goes for witches.
Academically, it would also be interesting if we could choose levels for goblin attacks and normal pvp, too.
It's relatively redundant. For hogs, you're losing about 4 DE per hog, so this feature is a waste of code. Sorry!

And don't forget that with lvl 2 clan perk, you get 20% donated troop cost refund.
So, if you donate a lvl 5 hog rider, you should get 13 d.e. back making the donated lvl 5 hog rider cost only 52 which is even less than the cost of lvl 4 hog rider.

The better suggestion is that if the "donated troop upgrade" perk was wasted, the player gets as much refund as if this perk weren't wasted.
For example, in a level 5 clan, if a player donates level 4 dragon (37000 elixir) which upgrades to level 5, he gets 7400 elixir refunded, and the net cost is 29600 elixir. If a player donates level 5 dragon (42000 elixir), he should be refunded such that the net cost is the same as if he donated a level 4 dragon, i.e. 42000-29600=12400 elixir.
This will make players with max level troops as willing to donating as players with max level -1 troops.
