So this is the first time I've posted. I double checked if some these ideas were posted before and some of them were, but not on the lines of what I was thinking. So some of these ideas maybe op since they are still just concepts.
So what if there were events that happens every couple of months that expires and the stuff you get from the events are just temporally, you lose them when the event ends, but in that period of time you have to change your game play a bit to adjust to the changes. Events like:
Event 1. Gold vs Elixir: King/queen goes out exploring, wanders to your village and wants to help you for like a month. He/she lets you train with their knights (unlock gold barracks, which train knights, knights on horses, etc. # of gold barracks and level of those troops corresponds with the # of regular barracks you have and current troop levels.) and learn the teachings of their sages (unlock the ability to enhance traps with elixir and dark elixir.)
Event 2. Assaults vs Counters: A meteor hits your village radiating the ground with energy. It only last for a month. The energy causes all of your troops to gain an attack boost. People from your village realize the meteorite is emitting an energy as well and uses it in different ways. So you turn the meteorite into spikes and reflective shields that can be equipped onto defensive towers. (When spikes are hit by close attackers a % of the attack goes back to them. When shields are hit by ranged attackers a % of the attack bounces off back to them. # of spikes and shield depends on your th level.) A variation could be spells get a boost and the meteor gets turned into a ring surrounding the tower with writing on it ( If a spell is cast on the ring it loses a bit of it's affect. # of rings depends on your th level.
Event 3. Month of alchemy: A traveling alchemist is staying in your village for a month and offers his/her services. He/she can change your gold to elixir to dark elixir and back to gold for a commission of course.
So what if there were more heroes to choose from (besides bk and aq), so there is a maximum amount of heroes you can have out taking up, up to 2 hero slots (so some heroes could be op and take up both slots making it the only one out). The heroes that aren't active are in the th ( an upgrade is required to house the extra heroes, maybe called hall of heroes) Other hero ideas:
Hero 1. Giant general: He/she basically acts like a regular giant and attack defensive towers, high heath and low attack power. Maybe doing 2x damage to walls, maybe. Ability would be something called strategic maneuver, so all the towers will now attack him/her for a certain amount of time instead of the other troops and the damage is reduced each level. Also another affect is it reveals the location of the traps on the base ( maybe for a certain amount of time and maybe at a certain range), so your troops wouldn't go on them.
Hero 2. Master/champion rider: So he/she wears some armor and uses a whip that can go mid-range and hit air troops. So about this hero is that he/she can ride/equip some of your troops from your training camp like dragons, minions and etc, ether on it or on a chariot. The troops equipped to the rider gains an overall boost (boost could increase when leveled as well as maximum number of troops that could be equipped). So the rider would attack as how the troops its mounted on would normally attack (If the rider is equipped to a variety of troops the one that takes the most space is how the rider would attack.) as well as using his/her whip as well. When the troops die the rider attacks on foot. An ability could be something named the rider's cry, he/she could gain more troops to ride for a certain amount of time, when time is up he/she releases those troops and they attack on their own.
Some suggestions would be if decorations could be stored in the th so you don't have to lay it all out. Being able to reduce space like being able to combine barracks and dark barracks (hp is added), same goes for training camps and maybe builder's hut. So it would look like the regular barracks but the ground is covered with stuff from the dark barracks, regular troops come from the regular barracks, dark troops come from the ground.
Thanks for reading.
