Supercell!!!! Seriosly fix these stupid wallbreakers!!!!!!!!

Put them back how they were please!!!!!! They continue to be the direct cause for good attacks going bad. 1) They will open a hole in a wall on the first wave and following waves of wall breakers will go to the very same compartment wall that is already open and blow the hole open bigger... Total waste!!!! I watched a group of 6 blow open a hole with the first 2 & the other 4 went running all the way to a completely irrelevant wall and were shot down before they even got to it... I have them open walls when I try to funnel and they ignore the intended path and blow open walls so the golem turn around and let all the weapon troops die in front of them.. It's been ridiculous for months and I've tried learning their AI this way and its completely unpredictable... Put them back!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

Supercell is working to improve the AI to satisfy as many as they can. If you are experiencing these troubles I suggest you modify your deployment strategies while they try to improve it. Thanks, and Clash on!

There is something screwy about the WB ai. Last war I had my first 3 WB that I dropped run a quarter of the way around a perfectly square (th9) base. No walls had been killed yet, and my golems hadn't started pounding on a wall to get in the base yet. The wall breakers simply locked on to a wall half way across the screen. It made no sense... I'm not complaining, I still 3 starred the base, but it was weird and a few people in my clan also thought so too. I have dropped thousands of wall breakers in hundreds of gowiwi/gowipe attacks and every once in awhile the WB do something funkey. Dunno why that is.

But it certainly isn't cause I did it wrong. It's not that I don't mess up, its that when I do, I know why and how. The WB thing is always inexplicable.

I think two things. First, they should take shortest path to a qualifying wall section. Second, once they arrive at a wall and their fuse time starts they should not be able to retarget. Let people decide where wallbreakers are supposed to go and don't reward mass wallbreaker drops with optimal results.

    Im gonna assume

Im just gonna assume u werent around when the wall breaker ai was dumb as heck. They used to target random walls. If u go to youtube and type "Anti wall breaker base" it would show one where walls streched out a few spaces then wall breakers attack thise ones. Pretty sure you dont want THAT ai back. Atm, im pretty sure its fine as is. Just gotta be more strategic about it.

You have to know when to WB and when to JS. Unless they did a feature where you touched spawn point then touched desired wall there will ALWAYS be ai occurrences that are less than optimal. But if they did that for WB people would want it for everything else. That is not what this game is about. There is a no joy stick.

Thanks, I want to make clear that the amount of time and effort involved in making any troop as successful as it is, is truly genius in engineering and does not go unnoticed. It's mind boggling to me, and complaining about something as well done as the entirety of the game is, as to sound inappreciative of the work involved, is never my intent. I've been working the learning curve of all updates and they're beneficial to strategy the large percentage of the time. In this case even when My clan and I feel confidant of the predictability of the WB's, they do something entirely unpredictable, anomalous in nature. ie: targeting a remaining "peninsula" left over from already opened compartment.

I do spend a lot of time to strategize my attacks and I'm currently a Maxed Th9 (lvl8 walls), Lvl 105, lvl5 clan leader, and a very strong profile.. Nothing too special by any means, but not a youngster to the game either, lol...

    Thanks much for the reply!!

Yeah I follow you. I'm not bringing this up without having made my best attempts to learn the new update, and I'm definitely aware how bad they were. I just know that prior to the most recent AI update, the WB's were predictable in that they would target the nearest cornerstone (with some variability) and even when that wasn't optimal to the success of the attack, it was a reliable expectation for them to do so.. In this case they run marathons to find any structure that stands behind any wall far away from spawn point, and repeatedly target leftover "peninsula's" from already opened compartments..

The work involved doesn't go inappreciated or unnoticed, and I'm currently max th9 (lvl8 walls) with strong well rounded profile, lvl 105, lvl5 clan, etc... Not fresh on the block, Lol...

    Thanks for the feedback!!!
