I know it hasn't been confirmed and we won't know for sure til the end of the month... But does anyone have ideas/guesses on how the clan war tournaments would work if it is implemented? I understand the concept of a tournament, with a fixed number and brackets and all that. I'm mainly wondering about how each round of the tournament would play out.
There are clans that war back to back. So a tournament would be easy for this scenario. When you finish the first round, you immediately start the second round. However, other clans (like mine) only war once a week. Would a tournament for us have one round per week? If so, what day/time of the week would the war round start on?
Or would the whole tournament start and finish in the 2-day allotment that a single war gets right now? This would obviously mean that you have to do a lot more than 2 battles in that 2-day timeframe. If this were the case, troop/spell training times would need to be sped up a lot right? Also, since there would be lots of battles packed into a small time window, we wouldn't have much time to farm in between for elixir and DE to fund our troops. So troop/spell costs would need to be significantly reduced/free? Then heroes... Currently can't use them for war while upgrading. Imagine doing a whole tournament without them. They'd have to be made available right?
Obviously we can only guess since this feature hasn't been announced/confirmed. Just wondering what your thoughts on the implementation are...

Yea, I've seen that thread before. But there is a TON of stuff in there that has nothing to do with my topic and very little that does.
I guess I don't see the point in forcing all "speculation" discussions into a single thread, since there are TONS of topics under speculation. Makes it pretty hard to discuss a single topic, if there are 25 posts about something else in between. If there were a "speculation" sub-forum, I could see the purpose in moving it, but since there isn't, I don't see why this thread can't live on its own in General...
