I still think that 15 is perfectly fine. If it moved up to 20 then valks in particular would become even less popular, because 2 could be hit by one spring. The fact that one valk gets launched by a spring trap seems to be a pretty big complaint with them. No need to nerf them further.

what if troops with greater than 12 troop spaces didnt get sprung? Like what if the highest troop that could get sprung was a witch, and golems/pekkas werent affected? But say, 20-25 barbs could get sprung because they are all 1 troop space apiece.

idk, maybe. I still think that 15 is perfectly balanced but who knows, maybe more wouldn't effect too much.

As of right now, any Town Hall level can spring up to 15 troop space with one trap. What if, we could upgrade spring traps, so that more troops could fly off the map? The following numbers are just ideas, they could easily be modified and changed.

Level 1: Springs 5 troop space, costs 2,000 gold to build.
Level 2: Springs 10 troop space, costs 50,000 gold to upgrade (TH6 and up can upgrade to level 2)
Level 3: Springs 15 troop space, costs 100,000 gold to upgrade (TH7 and up can upgrade to level 3)
Level 4: Springs 20 troop space, costs 180,000 gold to upgrade (TH8 and up can upgrade to level 4)
Level 5: Springs 25 troop space (Pekkas not affected), costs 250,000 gold to upgrade (TH9 and up can upgrade to level 5)
Level 6: Max level, can spring up to 30 troops off the map, but costs 1,000,000 gold to upgrade. Only TH10s can max these traps.

Obviously, these are just baseline numbers. They can all be changed or modified. Let me know what you think.
    Thanks,

You forgot about Level 7; spring lvl 40 heroes right off the screen

I'm with him...the only problem with this would be losing the beefiest troop in the game to one single trap of which you have many to layout throughout your base. Defenses would then be way too OP.

honestly, springs ar ethe coolest trap in the game right now, because they are so op if placed well, and so worthless if they aren't. I could not count on my fingers toes and teeth how many hog raids I've seen blow up over well placed springs, or how many times I've seen a pretty good base get mauled to death by piggies that never hit poorly placed springs.

if you sit down and think about it, the spring is more threatening to hogs than the gb, really, 6 springs can kill 18 hogs, when have you ever seen any kind of competent hogger lose anywhere near 18 hogs to giant bombs?

still, I support upgrading that sucker, although at 25 spaces, tossing a pekka would be just a little too op to deal with for many players, I suppose.

No no no no, would absolutely HATE for spring traps to be upgradable... defenses already get too many subtle advantages, badly placed traps are already hit waaaaay more often than they should, like really wizards, you have four out of five spaces that will not spring the trap, but you all will spring it every time??

I don't agree with this idea
