Not exactly. Gold league has more loot than the crystal league, but not as much as the masters league. I would say Gold II or Master III

For the best profit, if your a strong TH masters or champs is by far the best, good loot and a top bonus.

but if you want your GG & EE to look good drop to gold raid with BAM (fastest army to cook) and ruin all the inactive bases.

Crystal and master are good for de farming i would try silver-gold league for gold and elixir.

I was just down in silver farming my queen. Here is what I found.

silver was good for gold and elixir but not great on de. Gold 2 and 3 had a pile of maxed th9's that had full storages (between 1500 and 1625 cups). It was by far the best de I've found yet that was also easy to get. I found it pretty dry above 1625. There were a few bases in gold 1 that were ok, but not even close to 1500-1625. I found loot in crystal pretty bad too. From Crystal 3 through to 1 was hard to make a profit on elixir. With marginal de.

now I am in masters and the loot is much better and the league bonus helps a bunch too (Crystal league bonus helps, but the loot was so bad I didn't even notice it).

i'm still climbing so not sure what it's like masters 2+

Bad advice. I maxed my new walls in low gold and silver league.
