I think it would get a lot of hate haha. and I watched the one between Nordic united and that Korean clan or whatever and it was kinda dumb, they had raids that I could have done better and I am not amazing in attacks. I know there was pressure but really? I feel like half of winning would be luck

Hmm, it has the potential. But guys, look at the major E-sport games, like WoW or LoL. They have a vast range of activities they can do, that keeps the crowd invested. On the other hand, CoC just has it's wars,.
Gambling, huh? It's awesome if we can War against our friends even if it is just 10 v 10 like 1 hour of Battle Hour. Preparation? Why 1 hour? No need preparation, all you need to do is sched a war against your friends and tell them to get their troops ready. Only one hour cause no need for preparation and only 1 Attacks each players, that would be COOL!
And then, later on, they will abused it. hahaha xD

There was this interview with a SC employee saying how they want to see clash more competitive. A lot of people think that the clashcon update will add some competitive feature. I don't have the exact link, but I'm sure someone does.

Supercell hosted a bunch of weird clan vs clan wars that were supposed to look "serious" i guess and I watched one of them but it wasn't super exciting. but I think that was one way SC definitely tried to make it more competitive
