I don't know how far you are into playing, but you do know just because you have higher farming troops doesn't mean that you're good to go up to a new th... especially th9, loot penalty starts hitting hard.

I don't know why ppl still keep talking about loot penalty?? that was gone long time ago since the MM update. You only see your TH level +-1 now on search. No big deal on loot penalty!

OP: Since you ask on forum that means you don't know how to rush, so don't rush!


p.s FYI, you don't need to play long session, gem, etc.. just need a good plan to rush and build efficiently.

If i were you, i wouldnt rush until i get all my walls to at least purple and bk to 10. Preferably ur war troops should also be maxed such as golems, dragons and hogs so you dont need to worry abt them later on.

I too rushed my th but was much closer to maxed than yours. Dont rush th unless you can farm in sessions and can afford to get rekt by higher ths like myself

sure the loot penalty became troublesome when you're a th5 rushing to th9 with th5 farming troop, obviously u cant get any loot with the crappy farming troop u got, but it doesnt mean jack squat when u got the right farming troopt to actually get the loot from th levels similar to yours.

The popular wisdom is to tell you to enjoy the game, play it how you want.

However- I will say this. I've seen many a player go to TH9. Many of those that rushed (non engineered), grew tired of the game...wasn't much fun- and left/quit at some point shortly after. Those that balanced their bases, offense better- I still see them playing.
