TH8 Push to Masters?

Hey guys I'm a mid TH8 and wanted to push to Masters! Never pushed beforeso my record is a lousy 1663.
I have a few questions

1) I'm a casual player(2 sessions of 30 minutes a day). Should I aim for champs or masters.?
2) what troops should I use and till what trophy range?
3) Will I be able to do it?
4) is pushing pain and should I just stick to farming
5) Will I just have to snipe my way up or will they disappear?

1) aim for masters only. first

2)use barch till crystal 3 for sniping th
then use gowipe and mass dragons for 2 staring th 9

3)yes u can do this.

4)real pushing start from crystal 1 where u get rare amount of exposed th.

Yeah sure.. Maybe 6 weeks you'll get there.. It's not viable imo

after crystal use 2 hrs of barck boost session.

earn more trophy's than u loose.

If you only snipe then 1 h/day is not enough for Champs for sure. You might get to Master in quite some time.
If you do full attacks it's not enough either because you won't have an army ready in 30 mins

The good part is, in Crystal if you keep TH outside you are relatively safe so no big defense losses

I pushed up to crystal 1 by attacking with a full army and logging off while army trains. Almost always got TH sniped in defense so I could make positive trophy gains anyway.

I did spend a good amount of time nexting to find a TH8 I could 3 star (not that hard with a full army) for 20+ trophies (and loot). Still, much easier to find than an exposed TH.

From cystal 1 to master 3 I did a boost session to speed things up a bit. From there I stayed at master 3 until mostly maxed TH8, doing full attacks on bases with good loot and TH sniping when I could find an exposed TH. It does take a while of searching to find a good target (which you can take).

I did managed to hit 3204 trophies as max TH7. I wanted the gems and (now rushed TH9) have stuck around for the league win bonus.

The trick is to understand, as TH7 and TH8 and even, TH9, you will ... WILL get 3-starred by a TH10 reaching up from Crystal, who will easily hit you for > 50 trophies. So, your playing strategy has to account for that as a potential outcome. Every time you go offline you can get hit for a 50 trophy 3-star loss.

1: Masters. If you wanna get to champs, you should be doing 6-hr sessions.
2: Snipe until C3. Start using gibarch or mass drags to get to masters.
