Walls or Heroes to Prioritize?

Always prioritize heroes. Everything's gonna be easy once you have maxed them both in farming or in CW.

Listen to these people. I've been telling my clan mates the same exact thing for months. They struggle in wars because of low heros. I attack only bases with 2k+ dark. The gold just stacks up. You can get 1-2 walls done a day doing this. You might even end up maxing wall before heros not even trying

I have been doing both at the same time. Although there are times where I want to focus solely on heroes, I found that working on both is best as you accumulate gold and elixir pretty easily.

Why not both? Heros use dark elixir to upgrade while walls use gold/elixir

I just put both heroes down, going 18/19 and got 30 lavas now. So just concentrate on gaining DE and G/E will just pile up for your walls,

If u keep one builder free for wall and farm for both heroes upgrading nonstop, I guarantee your walls will be upgrading at same time without realizing. Reason is simple you'll have no where to spend the extra loot but walls.

I prioritized heroes from the very start of TH9, but in a balanced manner.

I started from a completely maxed TH8.

My upgrade plan has been: "cheapest first", "never more than 2 defenses at the time", "early bombs", "no walls"

This gives a smooth upgrade progression and if constant builder/laboratory occupation is possible, a defense/troop maxed base after 6-7 months. Ath this time, Heroes will clock in at 17 and 15 (due to the "cheapest first" rule)

After 7 months, the grind begins. 1 billion gold/elixir needed for walls, 3.5 million DE needed for heroes.

With 7-8 gibarch attacks (96a40g12G4wb4wi+rage) a day, non-boosted, the DE intake is high enough to keep one hero upgrading constantly. As a side effect, a wall segment is upgraded to level 10 every few days.

By my calculations, my Heroes and Walls should max out at the same time. I will then have 14 days to max out my storages before going to TH10 .. This is still 6-8 months off.

Yes, I could probably burst raid a lot more DE a few times a week. I have selected to slowly and continually collect just enough, to keep one Hero upgrading constantly .. it works for me. (and they do overlap 1 day, every week)

As plenty of others have said focus on dark and the rest will come.

I have been focussed purely on dark for months and am at 240 lava walls and 27/30 heroes farm in masters as there is plenty of dark and the 100k gold and elixir bonus add up quick.

I prioritized DE but also went for 250k+ of gold and elix along with the 2500 plus DE in masters. The same day I finished my last lava my king became 30, queen had been 30 for a few months.

Go after the DE, gold and elix will come. Also don't be afraid of nexting, people seem to jump at the first thing that comes up, I find after a little nexting you will find what you are really looking for.

Yes, but heroes give a much bigger benefit.
