I think dedicating 2-3 builders to drills would be better in my opinion. because I dont think I'd have the sanity or patience to wait 2.25 months for maxed drills.

You're right doing this, put the builders upgrade drills till max and while this try hard to upgrade some walls and some troops, u'll have almost 3 weeks for this, you can get amount of new lvls of troops improving your offense while your defense didn't chance, so your weight on wars will be less discrepant.

Well thats true but troops wise, it wont improve much because if I'm using elixir for the drills, I'd only be able to upgrade dark troops, but my dark elixir is all for the queen right now so the only other thing I can do is upgrade walls with the drills.

So it would be 3 Builders set on working on the Dark Drills and 1 Builder set on walls and my heroes, but my 3rd elixir drill builder wont be available for another 12 days. Which extends how long it would take to max all 3 drills by another few days or so.

Hmmm, how much resourses you farm a day? I get something like 6m each/day and 30 ~ 40k DE, so I don't have any problems on upgrading drills and troops if i were you.

Depending on the time of day that I start raiding, it varies between 1mil elixir/gold + 2k DE and about 10-12mil elixir/gold + 20-30k DE.

but today I didn't manage to get much, only 1mil elixir, 1.5mil gold and about 10k DE at best

Question:
Should I use my gold to upgrade walls before I upgrade my queen? Or should I save the gold for future defenses?

Yeah I went ahead and did that anyways, well I saved up a little bit of gold just for searching but managed to do about 10 walls before upgrading my queen.

Update(October, 21st):



Just started my queens level 7 upgrade, so I'll have to struggle saving resources for the next few days since I won't have a builder until the queen is done upgrading of course, but managed to fit in a few level 8 walls before upgrading her, so back to farming I go!

The good news is after a few days when next builder is free you should have a ton of gold to dump into more walls before starting a drill upgrade.

edit - or before you put the AQ down again since it looks like you might have enough DE for that.

It seems you have space to loot loot and loot... never leave any builders resting... they need to work for their children's engineering school
