Are Hardcore farmers ruining coc?

I'm a maxed out clasher with over a billion gold grab. Today I encountered a fellow clasher on global who just so happens to have his bk one level higher than mine.for this reason I was accused of being the inferior clasher. He never passed gold one and only had 14 war stars. I farm in champion league with ease and if work wasn't so busy I could farm in Titan 3. I have 400+ war stars and as a th10 I class that as OK for someone who wars twice a week. I am more than capable of hitting any base. I paid my dues from th5-9 I farmed in gold and silver league for almost 18months. Once I knew my base could hold its own I was happy to climb a little and join the "bigger" clashers of the game.
It's been a great experience progressing through the game but I have noticed there's now more and more "elite" bases hangin low and have zero experience in using the max out troops they have farmed so hard for. At the end of the day what use is owning a rolls Royce if you can't drive it. I think the cup system is flawed. Although supercell have changed how match ups are made I think if they made the town hall mandatory in the centre of all bases it would make some ppl learn to use the troops they have farmed so hard for and in turn make the game far more even. Atm a full time barcher can class himself a better clasher even though he doesn't understand 60% of the game itself.

That's how they have their fun. The more upgrades they do the more pleased they feel.

Nope, most farmers are perfectly fine. Honestly, every group of people will have somebody with bad judgement.

I don't really understand this thread, but my advice is worry about your base and your clan, don't worry about what others choose to do...and yeah, stay away from global 😉

I wouldnt say that hardcore farmers are ruining coc. Its more of the players strategy and available time. People go where the loot is and it is normal to use cheap and fast training armies to bully on less progressed bases but thats how things work. If i had less time available i would go as high as i could and farm with my strongest army combo to assure that i will get the most storages and the league bonus. But again thats for people who cant spend their whole day farming and attack every now and then.

What I gathered from your wall'o'text was that someone on global said you were inferior to them due to the fact that you had your BK one level lower. This so incensed you that you to come to the forums, create an account and wrote two paragraphs stating how good you were and that sniping THs makes the game too easy.

You also had to call them out for their lack of war stars and the fact that they had never had to leave Gold 1 league and were obviously much inferior to your 1337 skillz.

I think it is less the hardcore farmers that are ruining CoC more those that feel they are superior to said farmers.

Here's the thing. Like you, I'm a fairly high level farmer. My lab is maxed except for EQ (10 days left) and my AQ adn BK are 37/35 respectively. I like to farm in Champs 1 or Champs 2 (although farming champs 1 doesn't seem near as profitable).

I leave my townhall out for a couple of reasons--I mostly only get sniped, and that mostly only means a 1 cup loss. If I put my TH in and use a trophy base, I will be hit by some multigolem, spare no expense attack where I will at least be 2*, losing lots more loot and cups. Or worse, I'll defend, still losing a good chunk of loot. And of course if they don't get to 40%, you get hit with another attack within a few seconds, your cc troops are gone and your traps are gone and that can be a 3* hit.

So why on Earth would you ever put your TH in? I don't get that. On the whole, outside of maybe defending from Masters to Champs, defending into higher champs levels is a pipe dream.

And as far as attacks go, my preference is to barch for league bonus. I don't really care what I get from attacks so long as that 200K league bonus is there. It at least feels like I making a decent profit. When you're farming DE, you don't use heavy attacks with golems because you're trying to save DE, not spend it.

I still use heavy attacks in war, I war back to back, I mostly do 6 golem attacks on max Th10s. I feel like I know at least 60% of what the game is about. You do you. How others choose to play is none of your concern.

The irony is you are complaining about hardcore farmers then boast about how you farm in champion league and could farm in titan league etc. From my point of view it sounds like the guy had better upgrades than yourself, you got butthurt about it and figure you are a better player because you have been in higher leagues than the other guy. Did I miss anything?
