If Clash of Clans and Boom Beach joined forces one time each year they will be able to bring people from one game to the other. How would you even want this to be pulled off? Both games have completely different mechanics and cross interface attacking doesn't seem like an option. This would be like trying to fly with a boat and trying to sail with an airplain.

This would be very difficult to code, especially because importing the files of each game to the other would be very painful. Further you'd likely have to rework the AI of the imported troops. So, I don't see this happening.

I can easily list 20 major ways Boom Beach and Clash of Clans are different. Ya know how much coding that would take?
Maybe compromise and do a funny CGI commercial crossover.
