I sometimes feel that there should be one more confirmation when a co-leader is being promoted or when leader is leaving the clan.

Actually it is not a bad idea to have a double confirmation when promoting someone as a leader. Even better, make it visually different from other dialogs and make it like claiming a statue in Boom Beach, a timed button. The same when a leader leaves a clan.

These are critical operations that are not done often. Making the confirmation better would prevent many errors and would not really affect usability.

This. Promoting to elder or co all give much the same confirmation screen. And who reads confirmation screens? Promoting to leader is the only one of these that is rare, irreversible and potentially catastrophic. It's good design to make that confirmation different to the confirmation you get for every other similar action.

Hello, I was a clan leader till yesterday. Yesterday by a miss tap I promoted one of our co leader, and he kicked everyone and my clan is no more but I still bookmarked my clan. IT WAS LEVEL 6 CLAN!!! However I made an another clan by the same name but its LEVEL 1!! Now I want to request Supercell and ask you guys, is it possible to get my clan back??? Or make my new clan to level 6??? I worked on my level 6 clan for 8 months so it means my hard work in coc life. Please help me!!

Dont listen to the haters, this kind of accident can indeed happen. I know you gotta click three times yet still it can happen. Very unfortunately you had ill chosen to make this guy co in the first place but even that can happen. It's the internets, ppl who seem perfectly reasonable can flip on you like a switch or have friends who grab ahold of their game and wreck havoc.

If I were you I wouldn't have left the level 6 clan. You would have been able to try and rebuild it, but now you have left you won't be able to get Leader again Good luck with your new clan.

How do you misclick three times? One to select the member, one to choose promotion, and then one more to confirm it. smh

It can happen other ways as well, if you have a mini in some random clan and you have two iPads open at the same time. If you meant to have your mini leave his clan but you actually had your main leave his clan that you were leader of. Just imagine, two iPads open, on your main you are also looking at the clan roster, you thought you were leaving the clan of your mini account which is also open.

if you lost your clan due to some stupid, very avoidable mistake then i think you dont deserve the clan. cry, be sad, mope around and then move on.

if you can do it once, you can do it again and dont make the same mistake.

This I agree with. More clicks, no. Boom Beach style 3 second pause timer, this would be fine.
