Supercell's money looting matching opponent algorithm

Hey Clashers,

I have noticed for the past 2 months, that when ever i gem mine barracks, i get th9 bases with good amount of trophies in 2-3 minutes ...lol and when i dont gem my barracks, it takes me 20-30 minutes to get a decent th9 with good amount of trophies.So is it a matching algorithm or a money looting opponent algorithm..lol

I have been playing for 17-18 hrs a day from about 2 months ...LOL so if someone here comes and gives excuses ..i will be loling :P it isnt that i have noticed that this for a day...lol 2 months :P is long time to rule out any excuse..

Advice for Supercell...Money making is good but if you try to kill the golden goose, you wont be getting a golden egg....I have seen games going down the drain e.g Mafia Wars by Zynga go down the drain :P So make money but fix ur looting matching algorithm

A long time clanmate of mine, although I'm now clanless floating around checking out other peoples matches and donating some troops, thought that if you boosted your barracks for a 2 hour barching session it resulted in a u shaped loot curve, some great bases right at the start, then a long dry spell and then some great dead bases at the end. He added it up once over 4 or 5 sessions and concluded that 75% of the loot was attained in the first 15 and last 30 minutes with about the same pattern. Big loot at the end there, to get you excited enough to boost again I guess.

He then quit farming as he thought that was too manipulative to stomach. I can't say my own experiences are particularly different, honestly.

that too.... when i was in lower league when i gem for loot, it also happen.

As i said money making is good but dont ya kill the golden goose ... i will stop buying gems.. till they fix there looting algorithm...

Players want for clash con , a th11, some want new de troops,some want zap walla back, I just want them to work on their looting algorithm ..

I had a full army and I was searching for dead bases and I found one and attacked it.
When I returned I had few troops and I kept searching for town halls to snipe but I found a dead base again! I had to next it because I wouldn't have been able to take anything but I found another one after sometime.

So, I felt that loot is good now and boosted two barracks.
Well, loot wasn't that good.

I'm going to chalk this up to "anecdotal" and "random is random."

The amount of loot (and I would imagine trophies) DOES change throughout the day as people log on/off, so it's possible you could have started your boost raid session at 1pm when loot is dry but finished up at 3pm when loot is plentiful.

I mean I have heard all kinds of outlandish theories on how to "improve matchmaking" and find better loot/trophies. Some people swear by "return home" and then start the search all over again. Others say change the language of your game to "get on a different server," etc., etc.
None of them work, they're all anecdotal, and random is random. Just keep searching and wear out the "next" button, the base you seek is out there, keep rolling the dice...

I posted this thread because i was rolling the dice for 50 + minutes lol and lets say a new bie who is in the champ league, has to next for 50 + minutes, would game give him fun or start to become a headache .

I am the newbie :P using gems and all , Supercell making money which is good, but greed will kill this game in 2 years :P i have seen games go down the drain... COC is a addicting game, but remember even drug addicts look for help and de addict themselves.. if this isnt fixed, in 1-2 years many money spending people like me :P wont spend a penny on it in a longer run..

So fix it or see ya from a top game to a ♥♥♥♥ game in an year :P

Same matching thing sucked in a game called Mafia Wars by Zynga... it was a different game.. but had this problem lol

After many players complained for years they didnt fix it, lol and many money spending left the game, guess what happenned :P the game was done and dusted... from being a top game to ♥♥♥♥ game in an year or 2

I been pushing for the last 1 month and 12 days.. i been to champ 6 times going up to champ and then coming down to silver 3, playing for 17-18 hrs in a day..spent about $400... in 1 month :P so let me tell you many players like me, low level newbie spending money, who love pushing, wont spend a penny after they realize the truth :P the truth is hard to accept at times :P U will go down the drain accpeting things ia start, giving excuse isnt :P.. excuse liek time zone, playing times, how many troops u have...lol

as per my profile you can see that i have been on here for nearly 2 yrs. i have been clashing since mar-13. all these threads saying change this or change that or you will lose all the gemmers and have no profit is completely false. the new guys that come on here think they know everything and once upon a time i did. but after 2 yrs on the forums i can tell you no one really knows anything about SC future. how their margin will grow/shrink. what new updates will come or how that will chnage game play and activity levels.

can we please stop guessing and making uneducated assumptions of how it is going to last. just ride the train and get off when your stop finally arrives. CoC was here long before you arrived and will more than likely still be here long after you have thrown in the towel.
