I do not watch any clash of clans youtube people, most of them (excluding, pingfao,junliang, daddy, maybe a few more), they are typical clash players who no not much more than a average intermediate level farmer who has a average base, average or sub-par design with average knowledge about the game. All that being said I do not watch anything clash related on youtube. Maybe I could teach them a thing or 2 myself.
Flammy's videos are very entertaining and cut my learning curve tremendously when I was starting.
However, now that he's reaching TH8/9 its becoming obvious he's a fairly average player. Not to say he should stop making videos (i'll definitely keep watching them) but I doubt he's going to revolutionize high-level strategy anytime soon.

You shouldn't bother reading video comments on youtube, it will just boil your blood.
I don't get many comments on my vids, but sometimes I do get abuse for no reason. Delete/block them, teach them a lesson.
I watched a few of his videos and read his guide in the early days. It helped me a lot in getting started.
I think anyone who spend precious time putting together videos, guides, designs to share with the community worth my respect.
The day I care about flammy not posting a video will be the day I try and eat my own eyeballs to stop myself from seeing how sad I've become.

Well I have mixed feelings about flammy. When i was a relitivley new player, up to the later stages of TH7, I LOVED his vids and checked his channle every day, and his vids rly helped me in the begining. Once i hit early TH8, I realized that he's not that good. He under stands the fundameantle parts of the game, and he mentions them atleast 20 times in each vid... And that's why I think he's very good for new players, but at the same time its a big turn off for me and a lot of other mid-high levels. The other thing is he contradicts him self. A lot. For instance, a few vids back he had a raid just over 100k, and he says its a great raid, then he says if he loses less than 200k on defence its a win for him. Imo, if its a win for you its a loss for your opponet and vice versa. The other thing that rly irks me is his keep the least amount of storages you can thing. Unless you have a vault its just plain wrong. Over all i would give him a 7/10 for TH6 and below and a 3/10 for TH7 and up.\end rant
