Personally, I like his videos, i learned a lot from them in the beginning. But he isn't a full time farmer and i really wish he would stop telling people to only have 2 storages, especially at th8! He's just wrong.
and now he just posted his th9 video and he has to upgrade two storages to afford troop upgrades.
I think everyone in real life is usually nicer than in forums. Taking that into consideration, experienced forumners can choose to derive the message behind the words ... which really is just saying "I miss your videos". Similarly, people who write comments should also realise that they can get their message accross more clearly if they use a more polite and straightforward tone. This is true in most circumstances, even in life outside Clash.
I've learnt a lot from Flammy as I'm sure many others have as well. I too miss his videos when life takes him away from feeding us. Nothing wrong with that at all.

I did watch in the early stages of CoCing some of Flammy's videos. Did find some usefull hints but nothing that special. I usually don't bother watching any CoC videos, so Daddy's blooning, Jun's base building and Chief Pat (or somesuch, I'm bad with names) are pretty much the only ones I've seen more than one or two.

When people are online they can say whatever they like, without having to face the person they're talking to. They're just facing a screen and have unlimited time to form coherent thoughts. In real life it's a lot more difficult especially when you're in the moment/getting nervous.
But that isn't to say that some people can't be nicer online. When online people can't judge you about your looks/ethnicity/background/athleticism. So who knows, the person you may be PMing online could be a completely different person, but you guys view each other as similar because of the huge barrier that both of you face.

Social mores prevent face-to-face rudeness between strangers reasonably well. Conflict aversion and self-control help. No such creature around these parts...
If you need to ask "Should I upgrade my Townhall?", the answer is no.
I don't mind Flammy's video but I just hate it when he uses a really strong army on a super weak base to show how strong the troops are. Other than that I don't mind his vids. For example he once used an all out wizard attack on a premature TH7 to show how strong they're. Those wizards just crushed the TH7.
