Yea..
And it depends.. youtube channel such as flammy, simontay, patrick, really draws and attract the "new comers" as they have many vids that are like walkthrough(Lets play), or single play tutorial(patrick), or mini strategy guides(simon tay), which really attracts mass audience, includes kids.
And kids of this generation.. are really *argh*..
But they don't have much choice but to suck it up if they want lots of views for their channel.
Regarding your suggestion, it certainly helps reduce the problem of "pestering", but for myself, its like a "tied down effect" for me. It aint a job, so why bring up stuff like deadlines to give yourself un-wanted pressure/stress haha..
Not to mention if you miss the deadline, hoo boy.
Anyway, these few weeks I have been playing around with this feature under my channel's feed.
So i use it to message my subs and give them a little update and headsup about the progress of my next vid.
I hope it gets through to most of my subs though.. although its not shown on mobile "youtube app" and other platforms
