On a similar note, I've seen a few similar comments on ping's channel as well, which isn't surprising, considering that he has taken up a full time job and it isn't a slack job.
And by "similar comments", majority of them are rushing/asking, although I have seen a few mean comments before..

I myself, too, have been slowing down alot as well in terms of vid upload speed as I'm taking up jobs during my uni holidays..
Don't really have "mean" comment, but more of people rushing and asking when will the next vid be releasing..

Anyway, that shows that people are keen in watching your vids, which is a good thing right ?

But oh well, real life takes priority.

No comments regarding flammy's "focus" in his youtube vids these few months though.
    No point making enemies.

However, he isnt setting the greatest example for new clashers.
-his base is sub-par in terms of layout
-he claims to farm, but his walls make most farmers cringe
-he flames people for so many things that arent really bad
FOR EXAMPLE: in one video he attacked some guy that had all 3 mortars upgrading. Flammy laughed at him for such a "noob mistake." Upgrading all mortars at once is actually a legitimate strategy that prevents crippling one's base for weeks at a time, instead opting to ride out shields.

Flammy annoys me on so many levels.
    other notable channels:
Godson (if you want to blow out your speakers)
Pingfao (if you want your base to not look like flammy's)
    Daddy (because balloons)
    the list goes on.
    I agree...

This has been talked about and brought up before.

I think Flammy makes great videos (quality & content), however, he just isn't that good at the game. He uses a base with way too many weaknesses & attacks with an army that is far too expensive & uses too many troops on weak bases - which limits his raids per hour.

I do believe Flammy serves a purpose though - I think he provides a great introduction to the world of clash of clans for noobs - even if if it would a hundred times more benificial if he had any kind of skill at the game.

To tie back in with the thread title - he shouldnt be flamed on youtube... but I know why he is.

The way I see it is, if you don't like what he is doing just stop watching. If you want me to mean you can take your subscribe back. If you dont like the way he comments just leave, dont like that hes not uploading, well um leave again.

Agreed. People are just like that because they eagerly wait for your video, though the mean comments come from trolls or people all acting tough. If I can make a suggestion, that is you should put one slide at the end of your video, citing when can your viewers expect your next video to be uploaded, doesnt have to be exact, but just a certain time-frame where youre sure you can make one and upload it.

That could work. Things still pop up though.

That is the risk, though another way is to create several videos and schedule them to be uploaded every few days or so. Then again, Im not a youtuber so I dont know whether that would work factoring in the editing etc.

    Yea..

And it depends.. youtube channel such as flammy, simontay, patrick, really draws and attract the "new comers" as they have many vids that are like walkthrough(Lets play), or single play tutorial(patrick), or mini strategy guides(simon tay), which really attracts mass audience, includes kids.
And kids of this generation.. are really *argh*..

But they don't have much choice but to suck it up if they want lots of views for their channel.

Regarding your suggestion, it certainly helps reduce the problem of "pestering", but for myself, its like a "tied down effect" for me. It aint a job, so why bring up stuff like deadlines to give yourself un-wanted pressure/stress haha..

Not to mention if you miss the deadline, hoo boy.

Anyway, these few weeks I have been playing around with this feature under my channel's feed.

So i use it to message my subs and give them a little update and headsup about the progress of my next vid.

I hope it gets through to most of my subs though.. although its not shown on mobile "youtube app" and other platforms

    I agree with you.
Although flammy is not terrible he is not that great with his setups and in general he is not great at efficient farming either. When I was a noob i would have upgraded my walls better had I not subscribed to flammy....
