Leaving townhall exposed and tesla/trapping it...lol

Why some people trap their town hall? There is a good reason behind it. Let's take for example someone attacking a guy with +9/-30 trophies. Many times, that someone will use one wizard or archer to take out the town hall, and that is 3 trophies right there, but, does it at that? Sometimes yes and sometimes No. Whether you have full storage or not, the attacker will still attempt now, since he only used one troop for the snipe, to 50% your base for another star, giving him a total of +6 trophies. With trapped town hall, the attacker will most likely have to use half his troops or more (depending on the army) to take out that town hall, and therefore won't have enough for the 50%. So yes, I am one of those people who used to trap their town hall at higher leagues Because it has happened a lot to me where the attacker will go for another star for more trophies

I GiBarched a TH9 yesterday. 400/400/2.5 so well worth it.

I did 86% total damage getting 350 G and E AND all the DE in the centre...there was adequate space here for his 4 lvl 7 teslas but since it turns out he had decided to put those round his TH on the far corner of the base instead, I got nearly all his loot and a few trophies too! (Given the way my giants pathed, a few archers ended up picking off the DE storage, just one tesla would have stopped this from happening)

Yep, trap that TH in the corner, please, and place the giant bombs and skeletorn traps there as well .. it makes my gibarch that much easier and more likely award me with all the loot :-)

I don't care about Trophy's as I only attack for loot. I'm a TH9

I always drop 1 archer on an exposed TH, the moment I see Tesla's then I destroy the base from the other side.
If Resources are close to one another then I go for loot and quit just before I can get 50% so that someone else can attack the base. So instead of losing 250k resources he could lose a total of 500k.

Usually work great against a TH8, or TH9. I don't bother against a TH10

Or they have a 3 max pekka gowipe trained and will give up the snipe now knowing that all of ur max teslas that could eat a pekka are well away from the action 😄

thats why no one snipe th with barb. zooming in then few archer in the corner does the job well. they will be out of range of tesla.

That's all well and good if you're in a league with a small loot bonus, but from masters and up it's silly not to at least get one star whether you care about trophies or not. The loot bonus is too good to leave someone at 49%
