I'd recommend not getting any new defenses. Just upgrade your troops and walls. Once you get all your farming and/or war troops maxed, then start your defenses. This helps minimize your war weight as well as give you the offensive capability of a maxed Town Hall level 9.Originally Posted by warbadz

No particular order, that's just what I would do with my 5 builders once I get to th9
Yes, this is perfect.
It's been a while for me but what I did was grab the xbows first, then teslas and AT. Xbow upgrades and then air blowers to the th8 cap (they we're just implemented at this time.)
For troops I prioritized loons over everything else, then spells and farming troops. That's just up to you. I think my order was probably a little w♥♥♥♥y compared to most others, because it was vastly different than most of my clan mates upgrades. They went for lower priced things like cannons and mortars.
Edit: I didn't include the elixir builings cuz I farmed all day and gemmed those timers, but ya those should go first.

I got X-Bows first, but to be honest, Iwish I had done TH8.5. Getting no defenses first and just upgrading only Army Camps, Heroes, and anything offense related is really worth it. You have less to worry about getting leveled up and it is way easier to manage. Also, you get a head start in your walls for the future which helps a lot too.How about tesla, AD, wiz tower?

I did this
then my dark spell factory
add all the walls and lvld them up a little.
Got all the defenses just to make the base.
Ive been leveling my queen up the whole time.
After catching up all the new defenses I will do my walls to legos then upgrade all defenses then to lavas.

Walls are fine. I would not recommend getting any new defenses though, and definately not the X-Bows. They weight a lot in matchmaking.
