Am i ready for th 10

I would disagree with this. I'm nowhere near the "top of the top"- and lavas save my base time and time again.

That's true, each lava adds an additional 1500 HP and requires three maxed wall breakers to break through instead of two.

you have a good point ... i barely war ... mostly farm but i also like pushing and for pushing higher i need stronger base, troops, etc

Based on this, I would suggest going to TH10 ASAP. Pushing is mostly about attacking well until you reach the clouding stage. As a TH9 pusher (high champions and titans) you would be seen and attacked by the same TH10s anyway. Being a lower TH will not save you many trophies even though your defense will be low for your TH.

Also, farming (for DE, which is all that matters) gets better at higher TH levels.

On the other hand, for war purposes, I'd almost encourage you to stay TH9 permanently.


Figure out what's important to you and go with that. Maybe start a second account to leave at TH9 while this one moves up to TH10.

Valks are useful for certain base designs if you war. But since you don't care much about war Valks have very little importance. I would make the same statement about witches, they are really only important for war.

thats a good idea ... and leaving my mini at th 9 is something that makes sense since ill already have a th 10

For farming and pushing, TH10 is the best. Not only infernos protecting you, but the loot I can get is far better than my TH9 alt. I wouldn't really sweat it about war, TH9 is for those who want fun wars and wreck other people, getting the 100%. But TH10 wars is about getting high % 2 stars mostly which is quite a feat too sometimes.

I'd say upgrade TH asap, it takes 2 weeks, it also takes 14 days to get BK to lvl 20. To be honest, hero levels do not matter at all after you get lvl 7 barch, where you can farm easily in M3 for collectors + loot bonus without any hero support. For war, 2 starring only requires around 15/15 heroes for new TH10, but you'll want them to get at least 25/25 before you max defenses.

Trust me, your heroes are weak because you're struggling to farm DE as a TH9. Once you're TH10 and get used to C1-M2 farming, you'll wonder why you even bothered farming DE in TH9 as my DE constantly overflows as a TH10

Can you farm DE storage of other TH9s? If so, then you can upgrade to TH10 and keep farming. If you only consistently farm TH8s, I would hold off. Due to the loot penalty at TH10, it's not worth farming DE from TH8s with a 50% loot penalty.

When you do go up to TH10, I would be sure to have max elixir storage. You want to start that lab upgrade right away for level 7 barbs and archers.

i usually attack th 9's with 2k + DE occasionally th 8's and thanks ... will do
