Why not base XP on resource used?

Seems rather simple. You could have a reduction for walls since there are so many but it seems like a simple problem that we make complicated.

What would be your suggestion for how many resources to equal 1 XP?

Count 1/100th of what defenses award for xp based on resources?

    Archer tower 3 mill upgrade=100xp
    3 mill wall upgrade=1xp

If it was based on 3 mil = 1 xp, what about walls lower than level 10? Would they earn no experience, or would they somehow gain a fraction of an experience point?

Even if legos and below did earn fractions of experience, the cumulative total for maxing all 275 walls from level 1 to level 11 would only be 800 experience.

Isn't upgrading a single piece of wall a rewarding enough experience already?
    Level 216 - TH13 - 2 bil GG - 2 bil EE - 11.75 mil HH - 250 lvl 13 walls - 50 lvl 14 walls

It was more of just a ratio example

I'm not sure what the exact XP is for different structures.

Walls reward you with something far more important than XP; Street cred.

Maybe walls should give XP like the destroyed TH, depending on the level.
    Ex: lvl 1 = 1 xp, lvl 2 = 2 xp.....
So, from 1 to 11 this is 66 XP
    x 275 = 18150

    MAGIC!
