    Earthquake Spells are beast for Town Hall level 8 and 9 for 3 star attacks.

    yeah. These days me and nearly my whole clan is using 4 eq's with surgical hogs. But it depends on the base.

    You have to understand why use eq and 2 heals instead of 4 heals.

    You use eq with an aim that your kill squad will trigger the possible giant bombs and take care of most of the traps. So you don't enter from the most desirable point to get the AQ and BK, rather you start from a different point where your kill squad would need to clear some ground to reach aq and bk. So automatically you need less heal spells for your hogs.

    There are loads of replays on youtube specifically OneHive showing you how it is done (eq or 2 jump spells)

    GoHo + quakes is certainly a three star strategy. Not sure why you had to come across as elitist.

    At TH10, EQ has made life MUCH easier on many bases. Much better than jump, in that it's wider, lasts the entire battle and allows troops to just flow better without being kinda funneled by the jump spell. The jump spell is still good for certain bases, but between the two, walls are kind meaningless now.

    For TH9 I would think they would be useful when doing a 3 star raid using lavaloonion. You could 2 lightning and EQ one air defense to take it out.. Then if the base is just right you can probably get another 2 AD with a queen walk then the rest is cake...

    It is very much base & attack related. I've not 3'd using jump & had someone clean up with eq & visa versa. Sometimes eq is worth giving up a spell.
