Resolution for the accidental Name Changes

I am not aware if this has been posted, so I apologize if this has been said or declined before.

Alright. SC has implemented the new one-time-only name change. Many people have changed their names, regretting it a few days later, or had their friends change their name. I was thinking, how could SC solve this without making it so players could change their name whenever they want, making it very confusing. This idea helps SC and the players.

I was thinking that in the shop, players could pay $5-$10 USD for a Name Change (besides the first free one). This allows players to fix their mistakes for a price, but for some, it is worth it. Technically, yes, players could infinitely change their name, but most people would not pay the price to change their name that often. Supercell gets $$$, players get their name. It's a win-win situation.

Give me your thoughts/suggestions on the topic below. Thanks!

This isn't the first time that this has been proposed. I personally think it should be more like 5000 to 10,000 gems, but whatever. There is no need to change your name anyway. It doesn't effect the quality of your base or your attacking skill. The ONLY thing it does is confuse your clan members when you change it. I have accidentally kicked players that changed their names without a heads up.

10,000 gems? That's nearly $100 USD. I don't think anyone would pay for that. Plus, I was thinking you don't use gems, you pay for the change. That it is an option in the store called "Name Change". Maybe $20 but I wouldn't think that it would be much higher than that.

Some people really regret their name change and would pay to get their name changed again, so it does affect their mood.
