That has happened to me several times when I was pushing in masters and lost a good amount of trophies
It happened enough that I changed my tactics. Now, I wait and activate the AQ's ability as the TH dies and then hit Surrender and OK. The ability give you the few seconds grace period where AQ takes no damage and you don't risk the accidental loss.

That awkward moment ... when you are sniping the town hall with 2 archers, and at the same time you are emptying collectors, then you use your AQ to get the last collectors and as soon as she's done you quit so she won't get hurt. Do'h the two archers hadn't finished the TH.
