Do I need to max my walls before going to TH9?

You don't even have all your defenses and troops fully maxed... Why are you asking about the walls???

Don't upgrade yet, you'll regret it.

Those people telling you to upgrade right now, they tell you that because they want another rusher in the matchmaking queue so they can easily steal all your loot because of your weak defenses and the loot cap (They are TH9s and 10, and when you upgrade to TH9 they'll be able to steal more loot from you)



First, max all your defenses (even bombs).
Max all your troops (DE troops also)

And then, you can upgrade to TH9 even with purple walls.

Maxing TH8 stunts your growth and slows your overall potential. Once you're overflowing elixir, move up. TH9 has better loot, better defenses even when you're rushed, AQ, more fun wars. Maxing TH8 only helps other TH9s who can easily wreck you

Hit any of these criteria, then move up
1) Maxed walls
2) Overflowing elixir with no where to spend it on
3) Overflowing DE with no where to spend it on

Maxing TH8 is fruitless and does not make it any easier. In fact, it makes your TH9 harder by maxing
