have you considered a very slight increase of range to the inferno tower? Due to the fine balance of defending against air and ground based attacks the inferno is the defense that bridges the gap. Because of this players tend to spread out their bases more to defend against air assaults leaving them vulnerable to focused ground assaults from the lack of concentrated damage. I believe a slight increase in the inferno towers range will help them reach the many different enemies and help satisfy the players' goals of how a good base is perceived to be. This could also mesh well with the valk ×2 damage against inferno idea because it would balance it out on the defensive end of the spectrum.
