I'm in M1. Aiming for the 1 star for the +900 de loot bonus. I believe in spending de to make de. You don't have to use every Minion every time. I rarely do. I just use em to make a funnel for the queen. I don't use ground troops because I want to avoid Healers swaying of the Queen.

I fill 3 barracks with 2 healers, 2 wb, rest archers, and 1 barrack with 2 healers, 2 wb, and rest barbs.

Not a th9 anymore at my second account but less than a week into 10 so troops levels and numbers are are the same. I've been using 6 healers, 8 breakers, 60 barbs, 60 archers and my level 30 queen.....just poison as my spell factory is still going. Using this not just for dark but all resources.....lots of mixed load town in gold with full storage and collectors so went a little heavier on the barch to make sure I get all collectors on the far side and queen gets the storages.

As others have said, I generally don't use all wbs/minions, and try to avoid using spells. I'll only use 6 healers on a th8 or premmie th9, or 8 on a developed 9.
