My nooby journey to max th8-.-'
Sooo I started clash in th4, my bro played until then, but obviously it was messy. He built the barracks but didn't upgrade both of them, only one was ver high n the other was very low. Some buildings were also not built O.o and then one day, God forbid, I actually met a good lad in global, when I was a th6 (still nooby base) and that person and I were conversing about this and that, about clans I think it was, I was complaining how unwise my leader was, bcz he was a th8 and always hit low targets, like in my range, and when I asked why; he'll say that was his recommended target. Pfft.
And in that persons clan there was a good player and he donated a healer for me, and me being the ever noob I was, accepted it gratefully, promising to use it well. But ah I remember that it got killed in a defense -.-'
Then that good lad I met on global; he invited me to his clan(it was closed) and I joined.It was awesome there, they had perfect wars and they mostly won
In TH7 once I remember in a war that I had sniped a top player when we were winning , for the loot. And by the end I had 1000DE. I was really happy because I thought, hey only 9000 more for me to get the king. Previously in th6 I thought no I can get the king with the elixer!I felt that I'd lose. And another nooby thing I did was, I didn't actually farm at that time. I always collected the gold from the collectors and didn't want to upgrade them because they were my only source of gold! If I upgrade them they won't generate gold for me to upgrade my things! And getting a lvl5 wall was heck expensive!
Ahhhh andddd whenever someone squashed my nooby base, I lost 3-6 DE and I was like how dare he do that!!And I thought that multiplayer was only to gain trophies and nothing else. And in return only single player maps where I can get the loot.
And I never used ANY gems, I saved and saved and saved butttttttt one day unfortunately at 2AM in the morning while checking how many gold I need to upgrade my CC, I accidentally gemmed it and lost 200 gems!!:eek: <-- only this I don't consider nooby but I was extremely sad to lose it, but all good and well, I have all 5 builders now
And one day I lost the iPad (rather my mom hid it) and I was devastated T.T I tried to get the linking thro GC but my base never came, and it was other one of my brothers base which was saved to my GC and I thought it was overwritten and became extremely sad.I took my brothers other base, which he stopped playing long ago, in th3 and again with the previous problems.
But this time i advanced faster and I remember maxing th5Obviously very soon I was kicked from that clan because I was inactive(this was before the opt in stuff came) sad that I lost the only connection to my base....
Happy to see my old base back, I visited it n tried to find which GC it was connected to, and tried so many; ultimately it was my dads-.-' my dad doesn't really play thoand after the reunion with my old base I practically sky rocketed. I upgraded all my mines and collectors knowing that the return would surely increase; and one of the old members said that the easiest way to get de is zap
so I went zapping along with barching for de. I reached till crystal1 in my main account. And very soon both my accounts were maxed
I went to th8 simultaneously, and barch barch barch, I maxed it. It was funny when I actually saw ppl saying, I'm a maxed th8 except for this and these... I used to do it previously too, but after a while it felt pretty funny and stupid.N so guys, just use the term near maxed or almost maxed.
And I did pretty expensive raids for my lvl8 walls; a tip for th8s make sure ur loot is low as it could get, specially the Elixer as th9s are elixer hungry, but since I'm gonna be a th9; leave it out after all
Tip for those who are low ths, like I did, keep saving gems, don't use them at all!
So that's about it, I'll share a pretty cool raid on a th9 picture wise sometime soon. Here are the following pic of my bases; both accounts are FULLY maxed TH8s
