Watching someone else play a game sounds incredibly boring, got better things to do Have to agree with the comments above about game activity, our clan has taken a big hit in activity. This October update will be pretty crucial for getting people active again, hope SC pulls it off.

Likewise, I am seeing clan activity dwindling.

My clan has 35 people and about 20 people were active. Now it is fewer than 5 active members and many don't even register a raid the entire season.

Needless to say, we can't even field a group of 10 to war now.

I feel you... our wars used to be 35v35 then opt out came out.. then it went to 30v30 for a while and now we struggle to get 20v20 most of our wars are 15v15.. I think there is soo much content in TH9 where casual players start to lose interest because their bases get wrecked too often making it hard to save. Seems like TH9 is where you decide to be all in it or not hardly in it at all.

Certainly some truth to this. Everyone wants to hurry up and get there, get those xbows. Then you see the upgrade times, more effort that is required in wars, etc- and many just go dark.

The thing about Twitch and CoC is that oftentimes, streaming CoC is just...waiting, really. Not like MMOs where there are usually constant games.

Well... The game has so much waiting that I'd imagine it is near impossible to stream. And if you are streaming a war, you would have to be playing fair. Which I'm pretty cynical about, and I imagine might be reason for declines in players.

Never watched a stream. Not much at th10 I could really see that would actually be interesting. Same with videos for that matter. I've seen the same raid 1000 times done by myself; why would I ever want to watch someone else do it? Maybe they'll get some pro 3* max th10 raiders at clash con, but otherwise, I couldn't care less.

If you want see some "elite" th10 wars streams, you will see rampant caspering .... it is just silly now. No one is even at the helm anymore ... it's all just playback.
