You arent wrong for the most part, I love Valks too, but you misread the person who mentioned spring traps. He wasnt knocking the Ginger lovelies, he was just dropping knowledge on the OP as to why we are better off keeping them at 8 housing spaces. If are going to insult someone you should make sure you know what you are responding to or run the risk of sounding like a noob yourself.
As we all know, spring traps can launch up to 15 troop space, thats why you can lose up to 3 giants and/or hogs when they hit spring traps. Valks taking up 8 spaces each actually protects large groups from spring traps since 2 valks is 16 spaces, just barely too much to launch 2, meaning one spring trap will only ever toss one valk.
If you drop them to 7 spaces each, that would be a huge nerf to these glorious red headed goddesses because, sure, now you can carry one extra beauty into battle but now 2 valks is only 14 spaces so each spring trap now dispatches 2 at a time instead of one. All of a sudden, even though you brought more, they are gone much faster.
Class dismissed.
It's amazing how you mention Valkyries in a thread and magically Nio appears
Valks are ok the way they are, their lack of popularity is due to players with no skill, they're tricky and take a lot of time to understand their AI but are definitely worth it. People don't know how to use them and often think it's the most erratic troop in the game, it has nothing to do with its cost or its housing space.
started using govalo and it's great. I can only do it on certain bases but I always get 3 stars on those bases. Valks may not be the always used troops but they are far from worthless.

In my opinion I would not use them tbh I have not train a single valk for me they are not a priority to upgrade.call me a noob or whatever you like but it really depends on the way a coc players play's his game.
