Does anyone else ever "Thank" those who snipe/shield them?

Just curious if there are other clashers out there who will "thank" others for shielding them when you're laden with loot.

For example, when I'm farming in lower leagues and don't care about my trophy count, if I have full storages that could attract a beast TH10 to come and take it all, I love the lowly TH8 that comes by and snipes me 10 minutes after I log off (note, I'm a mid-max TH9, 180+ lego's and 19/17 AQ/BK, everything else maxed).

Once I'm ready to raid again, I'll try and take a revenge attack against the guy, and if I can get in (which is rare), I'll just drop my barb king, rage him, and then immediately surrender. It's just my king shouting "thanks for the shield mate, here's 20 free trophies."

This just amuses me so much, and I often wonder if the people I "thank" realize what I'm doing. Anyone else out there as crazy as I am?

I thank them by revenge attacks once they have full storages

Well i do,

I always try to revenge everyone who ever attacks me.

If they sniped me I usually refuse to roll their base into the ground.

Sometimes I cant help it though 300/300/2k is hard to pass up.

Back before when revenges weren't so difficult, if I needed to drop trophies, I would go through my revenge list and drop troops and end to all those in my revenge list that sniped me. I don't want the trophies but they sure do. Better than giving the trophies to a complete stranger.

I never think on it. My life is too busy to think about everyone who gives me a shield.

I suppose if they did have full storages I'd go that route, but they rarely have full storages themselves anyway.

And I don't spend a ton of time trying to revenge them, just click it randomly while waiting for an army to build on occasion and see if I can get in. I'm generally looking to shed trophies anyway cause I rack up so many victories via regular barch farming.

No I don't thank them but I did have someone join my clan once because I was trophy dumping and released only one archer on his base and left. He thanked me then asked if I would put my town hall out so he could revenge me...smh
