But not for the reasons some in this thread seem to think.
The reasons I will not currently let TH10s into my clan are as follows:
1) We simply are not ready as a clan for the weight they will bring. We currently have only 4X th9, 3 are 8.5 route and 1 is only mid way through th9 progression. Progression slows substantially after TH8. If your clan is not ready then even a fully maxed TH10 will be a liability. This is because weight is clan total, war mirrors do not matter much. If the enemy does not have a TH10 or has rushed TH10/s that much weight in one slot will screw over the clan since many wars the enemy weight distribution will differ in their favor.
2) Perk points. We are currently a lvl7 clan with no max TH9's. This means we do not get matched with TH10's and when we do we know they will be super rushed/bad. I actually get excited when i see multiple TH10s in war because i know its a win for us without even looking. Due to perks upgrading troop, but not beyond max level, TH9 will be able to donate max level of every type troop. If the enemy clan is not yet lvl5+ they will not be able to do the same. Why give up this advantage by adding the weight of th10s which will match against other clans with max lvl troops even if not yet lvl5+? The rushed TH10s we do match against never have max troops...

That's true, Th9 is perfectly balanced, don't touch this, Super cell :-)
3 stars are always possible and need huge skills with tons of variations in strategy
And yes, without huge changes I will never go to th10, th9 clan war is all I want
Ive seen plenty of times in war where max th9s get matched up with new/early th10s. It is then easier I think that the th10 gets 2-3 stars off the th9, than the other way around. I think what needs to be addressed is something new for th10 specifically (as someone else mentioned earlier) not that max th9 should be nerfed..
The need to nerf max ten defenses or buff th10 offense so people don't need to root their devices to enjoy war.
I had no idea it was being discussed elsewhere but I'm glad they are bringing attention to it as well. Like I said I've seen veteran war clans A) Refuse to recruit th10 B) Not take th10 into war (our clan being one of those as well)
This is a problem or it least it should be for supercell who I assume wants to make money and have players advance further into the game. Like I said in the previous thread I would favor lvl 11 walls being immune to jump and earth quake and have a specific troop unlocked at th10 that deals with lvl 11 walls. Maybe the drill.
That would A) make it harder for th9 to two star a th10 (ie impossible) B) Make th10 much easier to three star one another and get this game moving once again.
