What happens when I go finish a task after the derby ends?

U've been here long enough to know the vicious cycle of complaints on this forum will never end. It doesn't matter if u tell them to stop complaining or not...complaints will pour in every single day. What's the point of complaining about them? It's like telling the waves of the ocean to stop crashing on the beach. It's a lost cause. The derby has been a fun aspect of the game for most, most of the complaints is to make it right...fix what needs to be fixed, patch what needs to be patched. If we sit on our behinds and accept things the way they are, there will never be any improvements. I don't know about u but I like to see this game evolve and improve.

This is a public forum where debates are the norm. We all post here because we are all passionate about this game. Yea, it's only a game, but we care about it enough to make our voices heard. We can complain til our hearts' content, but at the end of the day, any tweaks made by SC is ultimately SC's decision. Test the tweaks better on their end and maybe some of these complaints so many of u dislike will be reduced. But if u want ALL complaints to magically vanish, I'm sorry...it's not going to happen.

I don't want all complaints to magically vanish, suggesting we turn it around and come up with something in one place for fixes for the complaints of the derby. Instead of them scattered all over. I only know my complaints of it, and there are just so many threads and posts I can't read them all and see what others have to complain about.

If I run across you posting, I always read your posts, yet I can't tell you at this moment what your complaints are in the derby, I would have to go back and see, cause there are just to many posting to keep straight. Complaining and organzing the complaints so SC does not just wing another tweak, cause we don't need another bad tweak.

So I'm all for #1 here and I have seen others mention this alot

1. Test tweaks better, think them through and choose ones that make it better

The next ones are mine, but willing to change them or take them off if many disagree
2. Redo the rate of higher level task drops
3. Fix the disappearing tasks(if anyone does not understand this read the BUG board, this is not accidently trashing, it's tasks disappearing into trash even when players are logged off(happened to me), SC so far has not done anything to fix this issue and supports blames the player and says tasks just don't go into trash by themselves, but they do.
4. Make it so the task your doing is not default, so those true accidental trashings can't happen(I've actually not done this but I have seen it happen a few times, and I stay out of derby board when I have a task, so I can't do this and so when I have a task disappear like above, SC can see I was not trashing when I contact support)


That's all I got, do you or anyone else want to give your input on mine or any you have? I would be more then happy to organize a list and discuss different ones and debate if they are good or bad suggestions.

Our group all love Hay Day & the Derby. What we do NOT LIKE is the mathematical near impossibility of WINNING the Derby (without unautorised method) because of the unequal way in which the Derby boards are being generated for each team.

If a team we are competing against 'randomly' gets a board with higher scores, then there is NO CHANCE of our neighbourhood winning against them!

This week, not 24 hours into the Derby, 1 team had over 14,000 in points, we had continually trashed and had INSUFFICIENT TASKS of 300+ in that time to go round!!! HOW IS THIS FAIR???

To make the Derby teams EQUAL in footing, ALL competing neighbourhoods IN EACH RACE need to have IDENTICAL boards generated.

What each team in the race choose to do with their board is up to them, but everyone's tasks should be MATHEMATICALLY EQUAL, or you have 'randomly' doomed some to failure & 'randomly' given some a distinct advantage.

This is not 'sour grapes' - we are a formidable team, but we play fair - I kick anyone using unautorised method out of this group faster than they can say "Hay Day"!

And another thing which is ridiculous... You can't write the word "unautorised method" or you are censored, but if you ACTUALLY use unautorised method Supercell TURN A BLIND EYE!

Oh, yeah, sure, the above all makes real sense, doesn't it????

One more thing - wouldn't it be a good idea to put the League level (possibly above the cups) in the Neighbourhood House? Anyone looking for a new Hood would instantly know how good the group were in the Derby!

It appears on the face of it that WE CANNOT ACCUSE other Hoods who 'bend the rules to their advantage', or however you would like to describe deception by [quote from Oxford English Dictionary] "v. Act dishonestly or unfairly to win profit or advantage, trick, deprive by deceit"; yet it is PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE for unscrupulous hoods to continue to do it!!!

I find you 'GUILTY' of DOUBLE STANDARDS Hay Day!

Why can't you disbandon all the offending hoods? ALSO, all the farms using 'unlimited diamonds etc aided by an illegal computer program' (you can see the ones who are using this method - farms with perimeters completely lined with expensive statues & full of expensive diamond-purchased decorations!); Top neighbourhoods who get outlandish totals of 188,379 for the last event (imo 'impossible' to achieve, even if all in group were working non-stop 24/7!)

Come on Hay Day, sort these despicable farmers/groups out - if they cannot win by 'fair' means, they should not be playing at all!

Hi Folks,

As the originator of this thread, just wanted to say thanks for all replies and comments, Oh, and to apologise for any upset for use of the C word in the title.
As the updated derby has continued, it has become more and more obvious that the only way to win a top 3 place is to speed things up with diamonds - but I personally cannot afford to throw real money at the game to do that, so I guess our 2 person NH will have to be content with horse shoe rewards, unless we deliberately drop back down the levels.

Now just waiting for SC to release a fix for those people who updated to ios 9 and can't play on iPad easily anymore (but that's a different thread.

Hello, I'm in a neighborhood with two members and we r at the expert level. We r allowed to do 8 tasks and one diamond task so 9 total. We do all 320 meaning we can earn 2880 each totaling 5760. We happened to each that maximum number of points first. Then the next two teams reached it and for the entire week it's been quiet. Well today the day the derby is ending, I log on and I watch fourth place who wasn't able to get to the max in time to place, actually take first with an additional 320! That means one member was allowed to do an extra task of 320 or one member ♥♥♥♥♥ed. So now the rankings moved us all down one slot meaning I'm in second yet I have max points. So I took a screen shot and sent it to supercell to see how they handle it. The total amount of points for the team that used their ♥♥♥♥♥ing method supersedes the max allowed for two members doing 9 tasks. So BEWARE!!!!! I honestly feel bad for the team that was in third place yet now is knocked down to fourth and won't win the top prizes. I know they pulled this stunt on the last day so that hay day wouldn't be able to fix it

Here is proof a team is che@@ting. How does a team with 2 players score that much? The top three teams one of which was mine, all had even scores and happily sat waiting for derby to end. Today, this team has 320 added. 9 tasks x 320 is 2880. Their score means one member did 10. If we r in expert level and can only do 8 tasks with one diamond totaling 9, how does their score equal that? Simple math proves this team is a ch@@ting team. Waiting for supercell to explain this one away.
