    To the Future!

    The following is a complied list of ideas I would like to see added to clash at some stage.

    1. Visual Package.

    • Different backgrounds (We currently have 3, Standard, War and Goblin map.) We would be able to purchase the backgrounds with gems. (This way it pays for SC to develop them.) Ideas for this include: Snow, Mountain, Desert, Island, Plains, Creepy/Spooky Forest & Volcanic (So far).
    • Each package could also include a troop modification. IE Snow would see white/gray coloured clothing.
    • Clan packs - Dwarven, Elven, Golbin, etc. IE All troops have a dwarven theme. Keep names for less confusion in donations.


    2. Sea Warfare.

    • This would be a huge update that involved adding a second part to the village: The Docks.
    • Docks would be separate from your normal village and would be optional IE: You can do land, sea or both.
    • Includes resources. Wood, Oil and Iron (Gold, Elixir and Dark Elixir)
    • Troops would be: Ships and Air Ships. IE: Small scout boats, Large dreadnought class etc.
    • Possibly it could include capturing Islands & Oil rigs similar to Boom Beach. (But without landing troops)
    • Combat: The basic concept is your fleet engages the enemy one. The more time you buy for raiding ships the more loot you gain. Destroying the defending fleet is the equivalent of 3*ing currently.
    • Docks would have additional defenses. To give the home fleet a boost. You would arrange your fleet prior to engagement and be able to throw spells into the mix to increase your chances of success. Enemy fleet would be set by defender. This would be a different kind of strategy to clash so it's not just "The same but in water" It would have different dynamics. Such as buying time for raiding ships. Arranging your ships in the best way. etc.


    3. Gem/Gold/Elixir/Dark Elixir Discounts.


    • Clash has never had discounts for whatever reason, but I think adding them could be beneficial for both SC and players. 10-50% off depending on what you spend/want. Would encourage more players to spend their gems and purchase gems. Even if it was only certain times of the year such as Christmas.
    • Additional gems/resources for your money. 10-50% extra. Would be a nice treat around Christmas time too.
    • This may simply be against SC code of practice/ethics hence why it doesn't happen but I'd still like to see it.


    4. Townhall 11? Pft Try TH's 11-20
    • This would involve and complete re-do of every TH from 1-20. Including wait times, defenses etc.
    • Lets face it SC has added a lot since Day 1. A total re-build of every town hall level and increasing town hall levels from 1-10 to 1-20 would give them a perfect change to re-evaluate each level and tweak it as they please.
    • Waiting times could be reduced which I think we'd all like to see. The map could be enlarged to accommodate more buildings.
    • As you would progress for each Town hall level faster then we do currently it would be less of a chore but would still take longer overall.
    • The "jump" in defense/offense could be less this way it wouldn't be as easy for a TH-X to pick on the level below them. We all know how devastating it is when you first upgrade your town hall and the level above you suddenly takes notice. Example: TH7 upgrades to TH8. Day 1 defenses of a TH7 but can be raided by a max TH9 without the loot penalty so basically a TH9 is thrashing a TH7. With less of a jump it wouldn't be quite so easy.
    • With less of a "jump" in defense/offense then the loot penalty could be eased off slightly allowing a MAX (Level 20) Town Hall to hit 20/19/18 before seriously taking a hit in loot. This would make it easier for advanced players when they need loot.


    5. Clan Donation Camp

    • Don't you hate it when someone requests a golem, you cook it but then someone else fills their request and you are left with a golem you don't currently want/need? Wasted DE too
    • Having a special camp or area to store X amount of troops perhaps 60 spaces? Would allow you to store some for donation and fill right away. Requests could be done sooner and you wouldn't be sitting on a troop you don't need waiting for someone to request similar/wasting it or deleting it.

    This is an interesting idea, but it has to be achievable for SC's servers. Currently additional flags are being excluded due to graphical issues on the server causing lags for players. Nevertheless the idea is nice but also proposed before, check This thread with poll and many pictures.

    I might be the last person not playing boombeach, so i have completely no reference when someone says ''like boombeach'' but i don't think this game shouldn't start to look like the other. Besides that adding new resources looks like so much more work and effort to maintain, people already have trouble collecting the three resources we have right now. If any new resources would be introduces it would have to be 1 at the time, not doubling the resources in one smack.

    Ofcourse discounts is something everyone would want, don't see any issue with having happy hours =P

    There's a reason why townhalls get added 1 by 1, it takes alotta balancing to make it a fair and acceptable upgrade. At the moment TH9 is considered to be the best balanced townhall level, and this is why many warclans decide to stay on maxed TH9 right now. TH10 simply issn't as balanced and upgrading to this level makes it much harder to get 3star attacks done. TH11 will have to be a compensation for TH10's imbalance so all the people staying on maxed TH9 have a motivation to go through TH10 towards a new balanced TH level. Adding 10 new townhall levels is just too much balancing and work so won't be a real addition and might backfire really badly.

    Waiting times are fine right now, 2 weeks is the maximum and this is a marathon game. SC's intention is tokeep the game amusing as long as possible, and making completion of your base available much quicker issn't going to help to achieve that. i think the waiting times are spot on right now, i'm just curious how they will adjust times on TH11.

    I love CoC's chores, it's what separates the boys from the men in this game. It takes effort to build your base into a badass fortress and i'm prepared to invest time to achieve that.
