I have played with sound off from the day I started clash. If I'm by myself I might turn on the music occasionally because it is nice but.. As a general rule I hate ingame sound effects. The archers dying are hilarious too

Never had sound on for this game after a day of raiding collectors listening to gold and elixir sound constantly. It ticked me off sooooo much...

Never happened to me I never play games with sound on
I was in math class and it was test time. I finished my test and opened up clash on my phone...dun dun dun DUN!!! I immediately yelled sorry and never took my phone out of my pocket to play clash during school again...until I remembered about the settings to turn off the sound...LOL.

I do the same thing. Every defense and troop makes its own unique sound. Those sounds tell you what's going on around you, when you may not notice in time, when relying on sight alone.
Sound/music off from day one.
