Wallbreakers ???

The wallbreakers, in my experience, are extremely consistent. Not knowing how they work doesn't make the AI wrong.

I would agree that having a troop AI that most users find hard to understand may not be the best. It is funny that you need to spend time on another website (clash wiki for example) to really grasp how they work. It's not needed for any other troop.

However all that said, it's not glitchy AI, it's users not knowing how the AI works.

I am a hardcore war player who plans his attack ad nauseum, and I can tell you, no word of a lie, next to the queen, wb AI is terrible. I have an extremely high skill level as well. They're awful. Every time out I try for three stars and I fail most often b/c the wb's do something ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed. As stated already, the queen is the next most ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed and it's gotten to the point where it's much easier/predictable to send her solo with some healers to gain her objectives.

Sounds like someone doesn't know how to use wallbreakers. It doesn't matter that you are a th9 or claim to have skill. The AI is fine. Complaining only shows your lack of understanding.

I wish everyone would just watch the wiki video on WBs - especially the part about the 15-17 square AI read and the part about what counts as an 'enclosed' building.

Many of the comments on these forums suggest people (even experienced users) understand WB basics but not the whole thing.

I couldn't agree more Seamusly. Even as a th10 with 2 and a half years experience, I learned a bunch watching that video and then putting it to the test in my raids. People rant and rave, but it just shows they don't understand the AI.

You guys are hilarious, you're TH10, it's a two star game. I play for 3, precision attacks. Two troop space is a really big deal. My plan has to be executed and planned perfectly. Wb AI is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed. I bet we could as a community post 1000's of screens from wb's doing something ♥♥♥♥♥♥ed and you'd still deny it. There is no point in trying to change your mind, it's made up. It's every else's fault. Everyone has no idea cept for you, the two star player....

To seriously say that the ai is fine I have to assume you either work for supercell, or just straight up don't use wallbreakers.

I agree with OP, easily the worst troop ai and has become more and more noticeable over recent updates...I'm guessing to make players use quake and jump spell which will run you either 500 de or 27k elix

To all those ppl who said use quake or jump spell...wouldn't it be nice to accomplish the same thing as those 2 spells but only use 7k elix?

And you can tell someone they don't understand something all day long but when you have 2 wb's deployed from the same spot only to run to the wall 4 tiles apart so they don't break through... I'd say that's hardly misunderstanding but rather faulty ai.

Guys, complain all you want, don't use wallbreakers or use wallbreakers. The fact is, the people that know what they are doing aren't having the same issues as you.

I'm here to help (as are a few others) if it's wanted or you can keep crying about it and have a lower performance in your raids. Your call.

This is a strategic game. It requires proper strategy to place / drop troops, timing when to drop, etc. This is not Hay Day where it doesn't matter if you put the cattle farm near the road or river.

From time to time, SC will tweak the gameplay or troops/buildings, whether for good, or for bad. Serious players will need to keep up to date (forum, twitter, etc.) and re-learn, find new strategy, etc.

That being said, current WB are working fine for me. As others say above earlier, WB to break 1st and/or 2nd layer only. The rest use jump/earthquake or butter-knife technique.

The game is far less frustrating when you only use wallbreakers for the outer edge of walls and use jump or earthquake spells for inner walls.

This. Using walbreakers at specific walls on the inside of a base is always gonna be tricky when there are so many different walls for the poor wbs to choose from.

Didn't want to start another WB thread... but why do WB's not attack double walls? Do they not realize that they do splash damage so running extra distances to find the single layer wall is just dumb?
