New troop: The Scarab! Post thoughts please

This troop could still and most likely use some stat tinkering but, this is my first troop idea I've actually wanted to post.
The Scarab (unlocked at th8) is a purplish colored beetle that loves eating dark elixir. These beetles are now oversized beasts from their dark elixir consumption and like most insects they're pesky and annoying to us therfore, their Favorite Target is enemy troops and heros and attacks a single target.
Beetles can fly but this guy prefers to crawl more often because of his large structure and size. However, he will fly over walls and fly up to attack enemy air troops.
DPS: 103
HP: 1350
Training Cost: 300 dark elixir
Favorite Target: enemy troops and heros
Damage Type: Single target
Targets: ground and air
Housing Space: 22
Training Time: 30m
Movement Speed: 18
Here's the interesting part, when the Scarab dies he explodes and let's out an deadly acid created from the ingested dark elixir : Damage: 36 (4x damage to troops and heros) Damage area: 4.8 tiles
The Scarab will have 3(?) levels, not sure about stats yet or upgrade costs. Just want to hear feedback on the troop! Thank you guys for reading.
