I get the internal server error on my tablet, get a server under maintenance error on hubby's.

I got into the game with no trouble this morning, put it down, then came back to this:
Server offline
Internal server error

...with the anxious looking pig in the middle. I am still having trouble with the fluidity of game play since the 9.0.1 update. Navigation slows down sporadically and sometimes freezes altogether, forcing me to back out, close out the app and reopen. I've tried this after receiving the offline message, but still can't get in to the game. Is this a more widespread problem?

I see the same message. I am guessing it is maintenance - or the hay day animals have taken over the servers.
