Upgrading heros using in war

I'm new here so not sure if it's come up before it probably has.
The ability to use your heros in war when they are upgrading. Im a near maxed th9 with only heros and walls to upgrade the heros take longer and longer each upgrade so you should be able to use them in wars only.
Every other defence work during war when it upgrading.
What's everybody else thoughts ?

Would be nice bc towers are working as well while they upgrade, and you can use XBOWS lvl 1 if you just build em, so it would be nice in my mind

I have had to bow out of wars because my heroes are upgrading. At TH9 they are a huge part of your army. There isn't any reason why they shouldn't be available in a war attack; after all, every defensive building is available even if it is upgrading.
