I've always wanted to be able to talk to the opposing clan, but so many childish immature people I understood how SC didn't allow it, you say drop downs, which I take as preset phrases that you can send the other team (preferably regarding a particular attack). That I think would be a good idea. The phrases I can currently think of that would be good on the drop down menu:
