I wouldn't say it's supremely rushed, you're only 1 wall level behind, but yes, it is technically "rushed."

I went to TH9 with about 50 lvl7's left (all the rest skulls) and it's not too bad to bang em out pretty quickly. If you go to TH9 with level 7 walls, you will hardly be the lowest wall level TH9 out there, that's for sure...

If your defenses and troops are pretty maxed then just go for TH9, yet is good to max walls but not at the price of watching your workers taking long holidays. once TH9 try to come back to decent walls level in same time while uping other building

If you go to TH9 with less than a Level 10 Barb King that's too rushed. If everything is maxed including lab except for walls and you have some skulls, still rushed but not as bad.

I would stay at TH8 as long as you can still use all of the gold, elixer, and DE that you farm or generate with collectors. As soon as anyone of those is of no use any longer, I'd move up. I wouldnt let resources or builder/lab space sit idle just to stay and finish part of the grind...

As long as your defenses and the troops you need are maxed, you are not rushed and dont tell me the story of the bad th10s crushing your base. I went to th9 with pink walls, but max defense and it only became much easier. Even without xbows and only the additional defenses it is much easier.
For farming it is the same. The queen easily compensates the 10% loot penalty and with lvl6 giants it is even easier.

Maxing walls at th8 is nonsense as long as you are not in a very war focused clan where you need to 3 star your mirror.

i maxed all buildings and troops at th10 with level 7 walls. Caused no problems for farming, warring or pushing.

offence is all about troop strength. Defence is all about defence dps and base design. Protecting your loot is all about being at the appropriate trophy level for your base strength ( and always leaving th outside untrapped).

i have only started upgrading my walls since i maxed the rest of my base in feb, and i am only upgrading my walls because i get lots of excess loot from my raids for de for hero upgrades.

level 7 walls are all u need, unless u are pushing to titan.

OP, this post sums it up nicely.

The game becomes easier at TH 9, not harder. So you can't hit TH 7's for much loot anymore. Who cares? There's not a TH 8 that you won't be able to core with lvl 6 giants. Those lvl 8 walls will come in no time. Not to mention you'll be able to protect your loot better with the added defense. Just keep your TH to the side, untrapped, and hang out in high gold, or crystal. You'll get sniped and your loot will be safe.

TH 9 is already hard enough with 2 whole levels of walls and 50 hero levels!
Get your bk to 10
Max defences
Max walls (can do some during th upgrade)
Max important offence

I'd say based off your stats in your signature you still have 6-7 more weeks :P
