    Great idea! Didn't have time lately to check the forum. Before I saw this thread, i finally decided to waste one hut to upgrade my pumps. My clan mate once ask me why I dint maxed my collectors and mines. I said, nah, I am a hard working farmer, i don't need them. But after i went to TH8, things are going from 5 days and up, and i can't play 24/7 anymore. I calculate the loot i get from collectors in day to a week, i see that i can upgrade stuff without too much time effort in farming. Plus with the gems achievement......I need gems!!!

    Before coming to the forums, I rushed my THs. I was a TH7 with level 5 ATs, lvl5 cannons, and lvl2 mortars. I turned out fine. Of course, I have been TH7 for about 4-5 months haha

    Not exactly. First off being premature at th8 and higher has serious implications if you didnt level your troops and camps. Second in order to break even you have to ride out the shield for the full duration. This means you cannot take any breaks between attacks.

    I appreciate the effort but I count 200 gems... wouldn't it be better to also include lower level mines/collectors? This way newer players could also partially benefit. Something like...

    Mines/collectors
    1 star - 1 level 5 mine/collector = 20 gems
    2 stars - 3 level 8 mines/collectors = 50 gems
    3 stars - 6 level 11 mines/collectors = 80 gems

    Drills
    1 star - 1 level 3 drill = 20 gems
    2 stars - 1 level 6 drill = 50 gems
    3 stars - 2 level 6 drills = 80 gems.

    This would total 300 gems.

    Everyone else counts 300. Figure out how that may be. Hint, we aren't all wrong.

    The reason why i suggest all high level collectors is it takes absolutely no time to reach the low level ones. People can be th7 in a matter of weeks and 90% of the collector build time is concentrated in levels 8-11.

    For me (with lvl 9 gold mines) i make 52800 gold a day-->~400k a week per collector x6=2.4 million gold produced a week.
    If i upgrade them to lvl 11 i need 252k elixr (ill assume this is gold to compare, but both sets of collectors/mines would have to be upgraded). So 252 x 6=1.15 million needed (we wont count building time as it is a 'long-term' investment).
    The bullding costs are equaled out in 3 days, so for arguments sake we will say that in 4 days time my base has put the same amount of resources into the game as i took out to build the collectors.
    Now, with 6 lvl 11 collectors/mines i will produce: 72k gold an hour-->~500k a week per collector x6=3 million gold per week.

    3-2.4= 600k more of one resource a week by just upgrading all collectors/mines the last 2 levels.

    Another important aspect to remember is that they also hold more as they are upgraded, and thus they make more when they wouldve been full already eg a lvl 9 gold mine maxes out at 75k, which takes 1 day and 10 hours. Whereas a lvl 11 gold mine maxes at 150k, which takes it 2 days 2 hours.
    This makes more loot for 2 reasons:
    1) More loot can be held in higher level collector and thus more loot can be taken
    2) After 1 day and 10 hours, a lvl 9 gold mine will stop making resources (if it is full), whilst a lvl 11 gold mine will still be making resources for an additional 14 hours.

    Another small increase in gold this would create is that (for farmers), there will be more good bases out there which means that less gold is used searching.

    If this were to be incorporated i think SC would gains everyone's forgiveness (even the high leveled players) for their 'money-making habits'.

    I don't see why SC would make 3 different achievements for mines/collectors/drills. More than likely just mines combined with collectors and then drills by itself. Have you seen how much loot you have to steal for each resource to 3 star it?
