    "Training Wars"

Has anyone ever started a clan war and used it as a training session for people to learn attack skills? I know there are a ton of YouTube videos, so I recommend them regularly. A CO in my clan suggested a "training war" and we are working out the idea to see if it would be feasible. I only wanted to know if anyone else has done this type of thing before.

In our clan we have a feeder clan for weak player th1-8 and then in main clan we have strong th8s-th10s. When we are needing to practice our war attacks we go over to the feeder.

Yes, we have from time to time. 10v "practice wars" as we like to call them. Can be very helpful trying out new hybrid attacks, something you are not familiar with, etc.

We've been using a practice war once a week for a few months and the results are positive. There is no true way to get actual war experience outside of war so this was the best option. For this war we allow everyone to practice any new attack strategies, as well as practice hitting bases they normally wouldn't attempt in a real war. This has actually led to more successful attack strategies in our actual wars so I would recommend you give it a shot.

Our clan has a practice war once a week. Everyone gets opt-ed in but participation is voluntary. You can hit any base you want even if it's already been 3-starred since it's meant for trying out new attack strategies.

Our clan is mostly farmers, so I think it works well to give everyone a stress-free opportunity to hit harder bases with big armies.

We try to win every war, but there are still situations for training. The th8s and below can try new things after all th8s have been 3 stared. TH9s can try something new if we face an easy clan or it is a bases that really cries for one attack strategy like lvl5 ads at th9 if you want to train lavaloon. Yes I would like to get more chances of trying pure 3 star attacks, but in most cases I have to bash the 2 top th10s or go for 3 with GoWiLoon so I still have safe 2 stars if I mess up. Not much chance for GoHo as my th10 account does not have max hogs and my th9 account has only lvl13 heroes because I am too lazy to farm on 2 accounts.
