Do you sit out of war with a hero down? I myself can't stand to miss a war so i do not, but there are plenty of instances that a star is missed out on with a king down and especially with a queen down. I personally still think I can attack better than many clanmates and at least two star tougher bases still so I don't feel I'm detrimental to the clan. What do you do/why?

I love war, can't stand to sit out, I upgrade 1 hero at a time so still go to war with 1, but obviously it seriously effects my attacks, worse part of the game in my oppinion, people need to stop gemming them as that's the only reason why supercell won't change it! Having a break from upgrading for a week and then on holiday for a week so will upgrade both at same time, sit out and have lots of family time!

I think it's a great idea to war without a hero. Far too many people put too much self emphasis on having both Heros to do war attacks. War is a clan based event, not an individual personal glory campaign. You can scout bases for others to go for a 3 star, you can clean up lower bases, lots of options. Reality is you are much stronger with higher level Heros and with 80 levels to push through, you might as well make yourself stronger and make your clan stronger in the process.

the degree of difficulty to three star th9's without heroes is much more than with them. Every time i upgrade the heroes, i make sure i have enough to do both and i sit out a few wars. No biggie.
